EPHRAIM, Utah - The 13th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team evened its Scenic West Athletic Conference record with a 101-89 win over 22nd-ranked Snow College Thursday on the road.
The Golden Eagles, which lost to 9th-ranked Salt Lake last week, held the league's top 3-point shooting team to 39 percent from long range.
Entering the game, Snow College shot 44 percent from beyond the arc.
The biggest difference in the game came on the boards. CSI out-rebounded Snow 44-22 led by
Malik Porter with 11 and
Brayden Parker with 10. Porter added 21 points for the double-double.
Khalid Thomas led the Golden Eagles in scoring with 25 points, while
Roberto Gittens had 18 and
Coreyoun Rushin had 10.
CSI, now 16-4 overall and 1-1 in SWAC play, travels to USU Eastern Saturday for a 5 p.m. matchup.
