TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Athletic Department is consistently one of the highest achieving programs in the country with one of the largest and most devoted fan bases in the nation. After completing one of the most successful seasons across the board last year, the Golden Eagle Athletic Department wants to give back to the community and our fans.
CSI is kicking off a marketing campaign that will reward our fans and connect our athletes, department and community together. We are Gold and CSI wants You to Join the Rush. But what does that mean?
The Golden Eagles are fresh off a stellar year that saw our athletes succeed on the court, the field, the arena and in the classroom.
And you can be a part of CSI Athletic's Golden winning tradition by joining the Gold Rush.
Being a season ticket holder shows commitment to Golden Eagle athletics and it's important to CSI that loyalty is noticed.
The Athletic Department will provide event ushers at the games to protect season ticket holders. There also will be a new CSI "Swag" stand at the games where season ticket holders will get discounts on Under Armour and other CSI gear. Not only will season ticket holders receive a reserved seat, but also will receive five free coke product punch cards to be used at the concession stand, five free general admission tickets to be used for any other CSI sport and other discounts for CSI events.
All season ticket holders that renew their seats by Sept. 17 will be put into a drawing for awesome prizes such as "golf" with a CSI Coach, free CSI gear, Coca-Cola for a year or even the chance that one of their seats will be given to them for FREE.
CSI Athletics will do a season ticket holder loyalty program where season ticket holders will be recognized at games and receive giveaways and prizes based on attendance. The CSI Booster Club is joining the Gold Rush as well. They will be offering discounted flags for businesses to fly on game days.
"We appreciate all of our amazing fans and especially our loyal season ticket holders who have committed for years to support CSI Athletics," said CSI Assistant Athletic Director
Jacob Howell. "We want to give back to them!"
Current seat holders can renew their seats now by calling
Ginger Nukaya at 208-732-6486 or emailing her at gnukaya@csi.edu. The Athletic Department also will be sending out letters to all seat holders with information and directions on how to renew.
Golden Eagle Athletics is partnering with Coca-Cola, Oasis Stop N Go and Kickback Rewards to promote the Gold Rush. There will be prizes and giveaways at certain locations throughout the sports seasons as well as a "#JoinTheRush Tip-Off" event with athlete autograph signings and prizes that will be held at an Oasis Stop N Go location.
CSI wants you to Join the Rush by attending our first home Cross Country event since 1998. The meet will include NCAA Division I teams, NAIA teams and junior college teams on Sept. 7 at Canyon Springs Golf Course, starting at 4 p.m. The meet will be sponsored by Idaho Milk Products.
Golden Eagle Volleyball hosts the Starr Corporation Invitational Sept. 6-8 as well. CSI enters the season ranked #2 in the country. The Athletic Department will be honoring Heidi Cartisser that weekend with a special dedication.
The Golden Eagles are also upgrading facilities to maintain the "Gold" standard associated with CSI Athletics. The CSI Baseball Field is installing artificial turf on the infield.
Now it's your turn to be a part of something Golden.
