HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team beat College of Southern Nevada 2-0 and 3-0 Friday to win the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title and hosting rights for the Region 18 Tournament.
The Golden Eagles relied on pitching gems in both games.
Dylan Steen pitched all seven innings in the Friday opener, giving up just two hits with five strikeouts. In game two,
Mason Foltz earned the win, going five innings and giving up just four hits with two strikeouts.
Jaden Jensen got the save, pitching the final two innings with no hits and three strikeouts.
David Hudleson hit well both games for the Golden Eagles. Hudleson was 2-for-4 in both games, hitting a home run in the second game.
Travis Bohall was 2-for-4 in game one with an RBI.
CSI, now 46-8 overall and 26-6 in conference play, takes on Southern Nevada Saturday for another doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. MST.
The Golden Eagles will host the Region 18 Tournament next week, starting on Thursday.
