TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team beat Colorado Northwestern 4-3 Thursday in the Region 18 Tournament.
The Golden Eagles led 4-0 entering the eighth inning but a 3-run home run by the Spartans closed the lead to one.
That's when
Jaden Jensen came in to shut down CNCC. Jensen gave up no hits with two strikeouts to earn the save.
Dylan Steen got the win on the mound, going eight innings and giving up five hits with 11 strikeouts.
Colin Gordon led the Eagles at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk and one RBI.
Nick Dolce was 1-for-2 with an RBI and walk.
CSI will take on the College of Southern Nevada Friday at noon with the winner advancing to the Region 18 Championship game.
