CSI Baseball beats Colorado Northwestern twice Friday

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 19th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Baseball team took advantage of an error for the walk-off win in game one 3-2 before beating Colorado Northwestern CC 7-3 in game two Friday.
The two teams battled to a 2-2 into the bottom of the ninth of game one. Ryke Erickson led off the inning for the Golden Eagles with a hit and advanced to second on a throwing error. Ryan Nolan came into run for Erickson and scored a batter later when Travis Bohall reached first on a throwing error for the win.
Erickson ended the game 1-3 with one RBI. Nick Dolce was 2-for-3.
Dylan Steen earned the no decision, going 7.1 innings and giving up just one earned run on five hits with seven strikeouts. Jaden Jensen earned the win getting a strikeout against the one batter he faced.
In game two, CSI trailed 2-1 heading into the fourth inning. But a Hayden Leatham grand slam in the bottom of the fourth put the Golden Eagles up to stay.
Nolan Walker was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Shawn Grandmont was 1-for-2.
Mason Foltz earned the win on the mound, going six innings and giving up two earned runs on three hits with eight strikeouts.
