TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team pitched brilliantly Friday in a doubleheader sweep of Utah State University Club team 5-0 and 10-0.
The Golden Eagles were solid at the plate too.
In game one,
Shawn Grandmont was 1-for-3 with a triple and one RBI.
Colin Gordon was 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases.
Dylan Steen dominated on the mound. The sophomore pitched the full-game shutout, giving up just two hits with eight strikeouts.
Game two was more of the same on the mound.
Mason Foltz earned the win, going four innings and giving up four hits with three strikeouts.
Bailey Daguio pitched the final two innings and gave up no hits.
Gordon stated hot, going 3-for-3 with two RBI and a triple.
Travis Bohall was 1-for-2 with a double and Hudleson was 2-for-4 with a double.Â
The Golden Eagles, 32-8 overall, host USU Club again Saturday for a doubleheader at noon.
