Box Score 2 PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team lost to USU Eastern 2-1 in game one before bouncing back to run rule USU Eastern 13-3 in game two Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles held the 1-0 lead all the way until the bottom of the 7th in game one when a walk and an error gave USU Eastern the walk-off win.
Ryke Erickson finished the game 2-for-3 and
Travis Bohall was 1-2. Golden Eagle pitchers
Colton Westfall and
Jaden Jensen combined to give up just one earned run and three hits with five strikeouts.
Game two was all CSI. The Golden Eagles earned the run rule in the seventh inning of a planned nine inning game.
Nolan Walker was 2-for-2 with three RBI and
Shawn Grandmont finished 2-for-4 with 4 RBI. Conner Breding earned the win on the mound, going four innings. He gave up no hits and no runs with five strikeouts.
CSI, now 23-5 overall and 9-3 in conference play, hosts Idaho State Club team Monday for a non-conference doubleheader at 2 p.m.
