Box Score 2 PRICE, Utah - The 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Baseball team swept USU Eastern 8-2 and 14-7 Friday in Scenic West Athletic Conference action.
The Golden Eagles continued to dominate at the plate and balance their attack with great pitching.
In game one,
Hayden Leatham was 2-4 with three RBI.
Nick Dolce was 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. In the circle,
Dylan Steen shined. The sophomore pitched all eight innings, giving up just one earned run with 10 strikeouts.
Game two saw three CSI hitters with a multiple-hit game.
Travis Bohall finished 3-for-5 with four RBI and a home run. David Hudelson was 3-for-4 with three RBI and
Colin Gordon was 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Mason Foltz earned the win on the mound, going 4.33 innings and giving up six earned runs with three stirkeouts.
Boden Mills came in to pitch well in relief. He went 2.67 innings, giving up no runs on two hits with three strikeouts.
CSI, now 22-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play, takes on USU Eastern Saturday for a doubleheader starting at noon.
