Box Score 2 RANGELY, Colo. - The 18th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Baseball team beat Colorado Northwestern 12-1 and 12-3 to improve to 18-4 overall and 4-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
With the two wins on Friday, the Golden Eagles have won six straight games.
Game one was all CSI.
Dylan Steen pitched a gem on the mound, going all five innings and giving up one earned run on just two hits with six strikeouts.
At the plate,
Travis Bohall hit a home run and David Hudelson was 2-for-3 with a double.
Hayden Leatham finished the game 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI.
The Golden Eagles led 4-2 through five innings before breaking the game open in the sixth with three runs and adding two in the seventh, one in the eighth and two in ninth.
Bohall led CSI at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three RBI. Hudelson was 2-for-2 with three RBI and
Jordan Sadovia was 2-for-2.
Mason Foltz earned the win on the mound, going 4.67 innings, giving up two earned runs with six hits and nine strikeouts.
Jaden Jensen finished the game, pitching 4.33 innings, giving up one earned run on four hits with two strikeouts.
CSI plays CNCC again Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
