HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took its win streak to five games with a 6-4 win over Cochise and a 7-6 victory over Yavapai in the College of Southern Nevada Tournament Friday.
The Golden Eagles entered the bottom of the eighth inning tied at four with Cochise. 
CSI's Brett Resch led off the inning with a single. The hit was followed by a Cochise error, a strikeout and then two walks and a hit by pitch that gave the Golden Eagles the final margin.
David Hudelson led CSI, going 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Resch was 2-for-2 at the plate. Jaden Jensen earned the win on the mound, going 1.33 innings with one strikeout. Charlie Fry posted the save, shutting out Cochise in the final inning.
Against Yavapai, it was again the eighth inning that proved to be the decisive inning.
Tied going into the eighth inning, Travis Bohall got a huge two-out single and moved to third on a single by David Hudelson. A balk plated Bohall for the winning run.
Gordon finished the game 3-for-3 with three RBI and a home run. Hayden Leatham went 2-for-5 with two RBI an a double.
Brandon Soucy got the win on the mound, going 1.33 innings and giving up on runs on no hits with one strikeout.
CSI, now 5-1 overall, takes on South Mountain at 10 a.m. MST Saturday.
