PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team bounced back from its double-overtime loss to Salt Lake Thursday to roll past USU Eastern 88-73 Saturday on the road.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 12 3-pointers and made free throws to pull away. CSI shot 77 percent from the line (20-26).
Khalid Thomas led CSI with 20 points and six rebounds.
Jake Hendricks and Roberto Gibbons added 13 points apiece, whileÂ
Telly Davenport and
Tommy Burton each scored 10 points. Davenport added seven rebounds and Burton led the team with eight rebounds.
Nico Aguirre-Urritia had a great game at point guard, scoring eight points and dishing out 11 assists along with three rebounds and three steals. The freshman only had one turnover.
CSI, 22-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play, hosts USU Eastern next Saturday at 5 p.m.
