LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team returns home with a 3-1 record, adding a 10-6 victory Saturday against Scottsdale.
The Golden Eagles scored six runs in the first two innings and never trailed.Â
Hayden Leatham showed his power again, hitting a grand slam in the second inning. It was his third home run of the weekend.
Travis Bohall finished the game 3-for-5 with a double.
On the mound
Conner Breding and
Trent Bixby each went 3.67 innings. They combined for seven strikeouts and gave up six hits and six earned runs.
Charlie Fry earned the victory, going .67 innings and giving up one hit.
Brandon Soucy came in to throw the last inning, retiring the side in order.
CSI, now 3-1 overall, travel to Henderson, Nev. next week for four games.
