TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The third time was the charm Thursday as the College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team took down 23rd-ranked Snow College 67-47.
The Golden Eagles fell to the Badgers in the first two meetings but Thursday it was all CSI.
Not only did CSI out-rebound Snow 51-37, they out-shot the Badgers from the field, 3-point line and free-throw line.Â
Kaela McClure led the Golden Eagles in scoring with 13 points.
Tiena Afu finished with a double-double, scoring 11 points to go with 12 rebounds. Lapoole added nine points and 10 rebounds, while Hughes had 10 rebounds and six points.
CSI, now 22-8 overall and 7-5 in SWAC play, will be the third seed at the Region 18 Tournament next week in Ephraim, Utah.
