HENDERSON, Nev. - College of Southern Idaho's
Jaden Jensen comes through with an rbi single to lead the Golden Eagle Baseball team past Okanagan Sunday, wrapping up its weekend at the Southern Nevada Tournament.
With two outs and the game tied at 10 apiece,
Colin Gordon drew a walk. As he has done all season,
Hayden Leatham came through with a crucial single to keep the inning alive and then let pinch hitter Jensen knock in the game-winner.
Leatham finished the game 3-for-5 with three RBI. Gordon was 2-for-4 with three RBI as well.Â
The Golden Eagles used six pitchers in the 11-inning game.
Brendan Boily earned the win, pitching the final 2.33 innings. He gave up no runs and just one hit with two strikeouts.
CSI, now 6-2 overall, travels to St. George next weekend to take on Northeastern JC for a four-game series.
