TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team made it a regular season sweep of USU Eastern by beating the Eagles 105-89 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Sophomore
Charles Jones Jr. hit the 1000-point career mark during the game. With the 14 points he scored Saturday, he currently has 1003 points. He trails only Fredrick Edmund in the history books. Edmund, who played from 2013-2015, finished his career at CSI with 1195 points.
The Golden Eagles led almost from start to finish, taking it's biggest lead of 23 with 11:40 to go in the game.
Khalid Thomas led CSI with 19 points and nine rebounds. Post

Nico Aguirre Urritia had five points, five assists, three rebounds and three assists.
CSI, now 23-5 overall and 7-2 in league play, travels to Salt Lake Thursday for a battle between the top two teams in the conferencew.
