TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho pushed Salt Lake CC to double overtime, falling to the Bruins 103-99 Thursday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.

Jake Hendricks knocked down five 3-pointers en route to setting the all-time CSI 3-point career record of 175 3-pointers. The previous record of 174 was held by Tony Bobbitt. He set that record from 2000-2002.
It looked like CSI would get the win, leading 76-74 with 11 second in regulation but SLCC's Bushmen Ebet scored on a layup with six seconds to play to send the game in overtime.
The Golden Eagles trailed 85-81 with 57 seconds to go in the first overtime but layups by
Tommy Burton and
Roberto Gittens tied it up and CSI got the final stop to head to double overtime.
Salt Lake hit a couple of 3-pointers and CSI never recovered. For the game, SLCC knocked down 18 3-pointers. CSI, which leads the league in long balls, made 10.
The Golden Eagles did out-shoot SLCCÂ 42 percent from the field compared to 33 percent for the Bruins.
Khalid Thomas led the way for CSI, finishing with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Hendricks added 18 points and five rebounds, while
Roberto Gittens had 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
CSI, 21-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play, travels to USU Eastern Saturday.
