TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho's Nicole Heyn Suarez posted a triple-double in leading the Golden Eagles past Minnesota State Community and Technical College Saturday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
Suarez finished the game with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 10 steals and two assists. Denajha Kie also had a solid all-around game, finishing with six points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Other Golden Eagles that scored in double figures included Alison Chanhthala with 14 points, Kaela McClure and Petra Farkas with 13 points apiece and Brooke Haney with 11 points.
CSI out-rebounded Minnesota 50-26 and forced 29 turnovers while committing just 26.
The Golden Eagles improve to 5-3 overall.
