MIDLAND, Texas - The 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team beat 20th-ranked Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on day one of the Midland Classic Tournament.
The win sends the Golden Eagles into a semifinal matchup with either host Midland College or Arizona Western Friday. Game time will depend on which team CSI plays.
Mallory Lapoole led CSI with 16 points. She added three rebounds. Freshman
Allie Thayne was the Golden Eagles second-leading scorer with 14 points.
On the boards
Bailey Hawkins,
Finley Garnett and
Kaela McClure tied for a team-high five rebounds.
McClure put together a solid all around game adding seven points and two assists.
The Golden Eagles improve to 3-1 with the win.
