MIDLAND, Texas - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team led after the first, second and third quarters but Midland tied it up to send it into overtime and eventually beat the Golden Eagles 83-76 in overtime in the second round of the Midland College NIT Tournament.
Golden Eagle
Denajha Kie led the offense with 19 points. She added four assists and four rebounds.
Mallory Lapoole added 16 points and eight rebounds and freshman
Allie Thayne had 13 points and four rebounds.
CSI knocked down 11 3-pointers with
Kaela McClure and Kie each hitting three.
Freshman
Alison Chanhthala finished the game with six assists and five points.
The Golden Eagles takes on Salt Lake CC at 4 p.m. CST Saturday in the third-place game.
