SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team struggled to get anything going, falling to Salt Lake CC 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 Friday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference contest.
The Golden Eagles drop into second place in the conference with the loss as both teams entered the match undefeated in SWAC play.
SLCC held the usually potent CSI hitters at bay.
Airi Miyabe led CSI with 13 kills and added nine digs.
Jovana Vukcevic had10 kills. In the middle
Alexis Mareko posted nine kills with three blocks.
Defensively,
Kylie Baumert led the Golden Eagles with 16 digs.
Makayla Bradford added eight.Â
CSI, now 19-2 overall and 4-1 in league play, host USU Eastern and Colorado Northwestern Friday and Saturday.
