TWIN FALLS, Idaho - After a dominating first set, the College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team struggled to find any consistency the rest of the way, falling to USU Eastern 14-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21 Friday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The Golden Eagles managed just a .200 hitting percentage for the match and finished with eight service errors.
Jovana Vukcevic led all hitters with 17 kills. The only other Golden Eagle in double digits was
E'laisah Young with 11 kills. She added four blocks.
Airi Miyabe ended the match with nine kills, 10 digs and three blocks.
Sean Garvin posted a double-double with 35 assists and 11 digs. Defensively,
Kylie Baumert led CSI with 19 digs.
Sacha Legros added 10 digs.
CSI, now 19-3 overall and 4-2 in league play, hosts Colorado Northwestern CC Saturday at 3 p.m.
