TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team avenged an early season loss Friday, taking down seventh-ranked Salt Lake CC 25-16, 25-22, 25-19 and winning the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title.
And they did it on the night the Golden Eagles celebrated sophomore day.

Airi Miyabe led the Golden Eagles with 21 kills and eight digs. Sophomore
E'laisah Young also stepped up, finishing the match with eight kills and no errors on 10 attempts. She added four blocks.
Tied at 19 points apiece in the third set, the Golden Eagles rolled off six straight points to end the match.
Alexis Mareko put down a kill to give CSI the lead at 20-19. Then kills by Young, Miyabe and
Brianna Barta took the Golden Eagles to 23-19. An attack error by Salt Lake gave CSI match point and
Kylie Baumert served her third ace of the match to end it.
Baumert finished the match with 20 digs.
Sacha Legros added 12
Makayla Bradford had 11.
Sean Garvin posted 24 assists and eight digs for CSI.
The Golden Eagles, now 23-3 overall, will host the Region 18 Tournament Friday and Saturday. CSI will play its first match Friday at 7 p.m. The championship is set for Saturday at 1 p.m.
CSI will travel to Treasure Valley CC Monday at 6 p.m. for a non-conference match to finish out its regular season schedule.
