TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The seventh-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat fifth-ranked Snow College 27-25, 25-18, 29-27 on Thursday and followed that up with a 25-17, 25-23, 26-24 victory over Southern Nevada on Saturday.
Airi Miyabe dominated all weekend. The outside hitter finished the match against Snow College with 18 kills, 26 digs and three blocks. She also shined against Southern Nevada. She posted 11 kills, 15 digs and two blocks.
Against the Badgers, Briana Barta led the Eagles with 25 assists, while
Payton Spoja had eight kills.
The Golden Eagles hit .193 and held Snow to .125.
CSI outhit Southern Nevada as well .064 to .047.
Against the Coyotes,
Kylie Gibson finished with six kills.
Jovana Vukcevic led the Eagles with four blocks.
Defensively,
Kylie Baumert led CSI with 18 digs. She added five assists.
Makayla Bradford added 10 digs and three service aces.
CSI hosts third-ranked Salt Lake CC Friday at 7 p.m.
