TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team dug itself a big hole Saturday to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play and fought all the way back giving itself a chance to tie the game at the buzzer. But the shot bounced off the rim and off, giving Snow College the 69-66 victory.
The Golden Eagles struggled all night from the field, making just 32 percent overall and 20 percent from beyond the arc.
Down by as much as 15 points early in the third quarter, CSI gradually climbed back into the game. But the overall game shooting woes were just too much to overcome.
Tiena Afu led the Eagles with 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Jamie Nielson and
Mallory Lapoole, each added 13 points.Â
