TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho shot 51 percent from the field to pull away from Colorado Northwestern CC 117-101 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 15 3-pointers on the night.
Jake Hendricks made eight of those on his way to 28 points. He added four rebounds and three steals.
Charles Jones Jr. was solid across the board, finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and just one turnover. Other CSI players in double-figure scoring included
Roche Grootfaam with 17,
Tommy Burton with 11 and
Danya Kingsby with 15.Â
CSI out-rebounded Colorado Northwestern 48-31 and made 82 percent of its free throws compared to 64 percent for the Spartans.
The Golden Eagles, 21-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play, host league-leading Salt Lake CC Thursday.
