HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Softball team finished the Southern Nevada Tournament 4-1 overall after run ruling #6 Yavapai 12-4 and #4 Central Arizona 12-4 on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles used the long ball against Yavapai to get the win.
Siearrah Anderson knocked two out the park and
Nicole Renner,
Melanie Groenewegen,
Anjalee Batchelor and
Tristin Evans each had one. In the circle
Stefani Zimmerman posted the win, going three innings, giving up 3 runs on four hits and one strikeout.
Hadlie Henderson came in to finish off the game. She pitched two innings, giving up one unearned run on two hits with one strikeout.
The bats stayed hot against Central Arizona.
Renner added a home run and a double with three RBI.
Kassidie Brooks came up big. She went 3-for-3 with two doubles and 5 RBI. Groenewegen and Batchelor continued to swing it. They each finished 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI.

Kamryn Grover earned the win, going all five innings and giving up four runs on six hits with one strikeout.
CSI next travels to Yuma, Arizona for a three-day tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
