TWIN FALLS - The sixth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat Yavapai College and Hutchinson CC in straight sets Saturday to improve to 13-1 overall.
The Golden Eagles downed Yavapai 25-22, 25-19, 25-13 earlier in the day before beating Hutch 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.
Airi Miyabe led the way in both matches, finishing with 13 kills and just one error against Yavapai and then 15 kills and just one error against HCC. She added 12 digs on the day.
Shiloh Peleras again led the Golden Eagles in the middle. The sophomore had nine kills and three blocks in the Yavapai match and then 11 kills and two blocks in the late match.
Morgan Weatherwax had a solid day, posting 83 assists and 11 digs. Libero
Esti Wilson finished with 27 digs in the two matches.
CSI travels to Arizona next week.
