SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat Scottsdale 25-23, 25-19, 25-20 and followed that up with a 25-19, 25-17, 25-12 win over 11th-ranked Mesa CC.
Outside hitters Airi Miyabe and Jojo Kruize were solid all day for the Golden Eagles.
Miyabe combined for 24 kills and 24 digs, while Kruize had 21 kills and 28 digs. Setter
Morgan Weatherwax finished the day with 75 assists.
Shiloh Peleras dominated against Scottsdale, finishing with 14 kills and just two errors.
Several players came off the bench and continued the Eagle onslaught in both matches.
Lacey McEwan had six kills and eight digs combined.
Maysie Rongen had four blocks against Scottsdale, while
Kelee Call had two kills and two blocks against Mesa.
CSI, 16-1, returns home to play College of Southern Nevada Friday and Snow College Saturday.
