TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Softball team took care of business Saturday, run ruling Snow 11-2 and 10-0 to take all four games in the Scenic West Athletic Conference series.
The Golden Eagles combined solid pitching and hitting to get the job done on Saturday.
Kylie Jones earned the game one win, giving up eight hits and just one earned run.
Samantha Riesen put together one of her best games of the year, throwing the 2-hit shut out with five strikeouts.
Offensively in game one,
Katie Basinger was 1-for-2 with a home run.
Courtney Argyle was 2-for-3 and
Jaici Bishop was 2-for-2 with a double.
Shelby McKinnon finished the game 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.
The Golden Eagles continued to pound the ball in game two, led by
Madi Ford's 3-for-3 performance with a triple.
Erin Emanuel was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while
Melanie Groenewegen was 1-for-3 with a two-run home  run.
CSI, now 28-12 overall and 20-6 in league play, travels to Colorado Northwestern CC Friday and Saturday.
