PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team has beaten USU Eastern by approximately 20 points all three times they've played each other, including Thursday night's 96-74 win on the road.
The Golden Eagles were led by
Jake Hendricks, who knocked down seven 3-pointers en route to 25 points. For the game, CSI was 12-of-25 from the beyond the arc, higher than its overall field goal percentage.
Even more impressive were the Golden Eagles at the free-throw line where they made 22-of-25.
CSI had six players in double figures. In addition to Hendricks big night,
Danya Kingsby added 19 points, five assists, three steals and three rebounds. Other players with 10 or more points included
Josiah Barsh (15),
Tommy Burton (11),
Charles Jones Jr. (11) and
Deishuan Booker (10). Booker and Barsh added seven rebounds apiece.
The Golden Eagles committed just nine turnovers but forced 19.
CSI, now 20-5 overall and 7-4 in conference play, hosts Salt Lake CC Saturday at 5 p.m.
