MESA, Ariz. - The ninth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team beat San Bernardino Valley 82-66 Thursday on opening day of the Fiesta Bowl Shootout.
Five players scored in double digits for the Golden Eagles led by Khalid Thomas' 16. Jake Hendricks added 14, knocking down 4-of-6 shots from long distance. Telly Davenport, Danya Kingsby and  Roberto Gittens each scored 12 points. Thomas and Davenport each pulled down seven rebounds, while Nico Aguirre Urritia led the Eagles with eight assists.
CSI, now 15-1 overall, plays South Plains Friday at 8 p.m.
