LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The 22nd-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team ran past 25th-ranked Central Arizona Wednesday in the CSN Holiday Basketball Classic.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was Mallory Lapoole. The freshman guard scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the double-double. Tiena Afu was dominant on the the boards as well, finishing with 15 rebounds to go with five points.
Jerome's Kaela McClure added 15 points and was deadly from beyond the arc, going 4-for-4. Sophomore Jane Nelson also finished in double figure scoring, posting 11 points.
CSI, now 14-2 overall, takes on Grand Canyon Thursday at 11 a.m. MST.
