TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball received a much-needed lift when
Mallory Lapoole came off the bench to lead the Golden Eagles past Western Wyoming 108-88 Saturday in the Hilex Poly Invitational.
Lapoole finished the game with 28 points on 11-of-14 shooting. She added eight rebounds. Teammates
Tiena Afu (15 points, 15 rebounds) and
Jamie Nielson (18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) also shined in the win.
The Golden Eagles out-rebounded the Mustangs 62-30 and posted 29 assists to just 14 for Western Wyoming.
CSI, now 12-2 overall, travels to Treasure Valley Tuesday for a non-conference contest.
