EPHRAIM, Utah - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team defeated USU Eastern 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20 Friday to advance to the Region 18 Championship Saturday at 1 p.m.
Golden Eagle outside hitters Airi Miyabe and Jojo Kruize combined for 33 kills and 27 digs to lead CSI. Other hitters in double-digit kills included Jasmyn Keohohina-Malina with 13 and Shiloh Peleras with 10. Keohohina-Malina added four blocks.
Libero Esti Wilson finished the match with 15 digs and setter Morgan Weatherwax finished with 49 assists and 10 digs.
The Golden Eagles will play Snow with a bid in the NJCAA National Tournament on the line at 1 p.m.
