WILLISTON, N.D. - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team led by just six points at the half but rolled late, beating Williston State 96-66 Friday on the road.
Six Golden Eagle players finished the game with double-digit scoring, led by
Charles Jones Jr. with 16 points. He added three rebounds and two assists.
Jake Hendricks picked up where he left off last season, draining 3-point field goals. The sophomore guard ended the game with 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc.
Khalid Thomas scored 13 points to go with eight rebounds, while
Danya Kingsby had almost identical numbers scoring 12 points and pulling down eight rebounds. The final players in double digits were
Tommy Burton with 10 points and seven rebounds and
Roberto Gittens with 10 points.
CSI plays Western Nebraska at 1 p.m. MST Saturday before returning home to host the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
