TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team rolled in the second half Saturday to defeat Casper College 87-64 in the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
Taking just a 34-30 lead into the locker room at the half, the Golden Eagles came out in the second half and dominated, outscoring the Thunderbirds 53-34.
Khalid Thomas led CSI offensively with 25 points and five rebounds. He knocked down 4-for-5 from beyond the arc. Big man Roche Grootfaam added 18 points, while Jake Hendricks scored 17 points along with four rebounds and four assists.
Charles Jones Jr. was held scoreless but found ways to contribute, leading the team with seven asssists and eight rebounds.
CSI, now 3-1 overall, hosts the Wright Physical Therapy Shootout Friday and Saturday.
