ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. - The 24th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team had too many weapons Tuesday, running away with the 117-54 win over Western Wyoming.
The Golden Eagles had six players score in double digits and 15 play substantial minutes.
Leading the way offensively was Tiena Afu. The sophomore post finished the game with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jerome native Kaela McClure added 12 points and seven assists.
Other CSI players with 10 or more points included
Katie Hughes with 13 points, Meghan Hughes with 10 points, Mallory Lapoole with 12 points and Ka'Maree Donald with 11.
Katie Hughes added seven rebounds.
The Golden Eagles dominated in every category, out-rebounding the Mustangs 54 to 36. CSI finished the game, shooting 58 percent from the field, 62 percent from beyond the arc and 73 percent from the free-throw line.
CSI does not play again this week.
