TWIN FALLS - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team lost its first game of the season, falling to Western Nebraska 92-87 Friday in the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
The Golden Eagles took a 10-point lead in the first half, knocking down 57 percent from the field and sharing the ball with 12 assists. The second half was a different story. CSI shot just 18 percent from the field and had just four assists.
Charles Jones Jr. led the Eagles with 23 points, seven assists and six points. Danya Kingsby and Jake Hendricks each scored 14 points and Khalid Thomas had 13 points.
CSI, 2-1, plays Casper College Saturday at 7:30 p.m. In the early game Salt Lake CC defeated Casper 111-72.
