EPHRAIM, Utah - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team passed its first big test of the Scenic West Athletic Conference schedule, beating 10th-ranked Snow College in dominating fashion 25-14, 25-17, 25-22 Saturday.
The Golden Eagles spread out their offense, no player finishing with double digit kills. CSI still posted 33 kills and a .220 hitting percentage while holding the Badgers to a .066 hitting percentage and forcing the Badgers into 23 hitting errors.
Alycia Wodke finished the match with 8 kills, 15 digs and two aces to lead CSI overall. The Golden Eagles middles -
Shiloh Peleras and
Ashelyn Jones - combined for 16 kills and just one error along with five blocks.
The Golden Eagles improved to 15-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
CSI hosts Treasure Valley Tuesday at 6 p.m. in a non-conference match and Salt Lake CC Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of alumni weekend.
