COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho got a much needed win Saturday, shooting past North Idaho 68-50 in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
In the two teams' two previous games, CSI won in double overtime and hit a last-second shot to get the wins. This time, it was all CSI from start to finish.
The Golden Eagles led by as much as 22 points in the second half. The Cardinals never led in the game.
CSI shot close to 50 percent from the field for the game, while holding North Idaho to just 32 percent.
Brianna Osorio put together a complete game, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals.
Matti Ventling scored 13 and Kandace Barber added 11 points for the Golden Eagles.
North Idaho out-rebounded CSI 45-35 but CSI committed just 10 turnovers to North Idaho's 16.
CSI improves to 23-3 overall and 8-3 in conference play.
