PRICE, Utah - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team had a monster second quarter to dominate USU Eastern 67-48 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles outscored USUE 24-7 in the second quarter to take a 41-19 lead into the locker room at the half. They never looked back.
Brianna Osorio led the Eagles with 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Kandiss Barber added 17 points and five rebounds.
CSI shot 40 percent from the field compared to 33 percent for USU Eastern. CSI also forced 25 turnovers.
The Golden Eagles improve to 24-3 overall. CSI travels to Colorado Northwestern CC Saturday at 3 p.m.
