HENDERSON, Nev. - Behind a big fifth inning, the College of Southern Baseball team beat Okanagan 6-2 Thursday in non-conference action.
The Golden Eagles entered the bottom of the fifth inning trailing 2-1 but then CSI's bats got hot.
Jake Boyd led off the inning with a hit by pitch, then stole second. After a fly ball out, 
Cody Schmidt doubled to score Boyd. 
Cole Walters followed with a single before 
Mason Hayes singled through the right side to score Schmidt. Cody Barkdull scored Walters on a sac fly to left field before a 
Kody Garvin single brought in the final run.
On the mound 
Parker Loutensock, 
Bailey Daugio and 
Alex Perron combined to give up just two runs on three hits. Daugio earned the win in relief, pitching 1.1 innings and giving up no runs or hits with two strikeouts.
Boyd led the offensive attack for the Golden Eagles, going 2-for-2 with two triples.
CSI improves to 4-2 overall. The Golden Eagles play Prairie Baseball Academy Friday at 5 p.m. MST
