TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team won its fourth straight game Saturday in the Wright Physical Therapy/Idaho Central Credit Union Tournament, beating Williston State 88-49.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was
Brianna Osorio. The sophomore guard finished the game with 24 points, seven assists, seven steals and four rebounds. Even more impressive with those numbers is the fact that she had only one turnover.
Teammate
Tiena Afu also dominated. She finished the game with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles again used their defense to spark their offense, forcing 23 turnovers and out-rebounding Williston 49-36. CSI held Williston State to a 29 percent field goal percentage.Â
Other double-figure scorers for CSI included
Tori Anderson with 10 and
Ariel Augustine with 12.
CSI, now 6-4 on the season, travels to Salt Lake next week to play New Mexico Military Institute, currently ranked third in the country.
