HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team ended it's winning streak at seven, falling to Central Arizona 89-62 Thursday in the College of Southern Nevada Tournament.
Central Arizona jumped out to a 26-11 lead in the first quarter and CSI could never recover. The Vaqueros out-rebounded the Eagles 53-35.Â
Ariel Augustine led the way for CSI with 16 points and three rebounds.
Brianna Osorio added 11 points, four assists and three rebounds. Those were the only Eagles in double-figure scoring.
Tiena Afu led CSI on the boards with six along with eight points.Â
CSI, now 8-5, begin its Scenic West Athletic Conference schedule next week, hosting Colorado Northwestern Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and Snow on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
