TWIN FALLS - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team will play for the Region 18 Championship Saturday at 1 p.m. after beating Southern Nevada 25-18, 25-15, 25-20 Friday in the semifinals of the region tournament.
The Golden Eagles will take on Salt Lake CC after the Bruins defeated Snow College in four sets.
CSI didn't have one player post double digits in kills but spread the offense to keep Southern Nevada off balance all night.

Ashelyn Jones and Jojo Kruize each ended the night with nine kills. Peleras added five blocks. Setter
Marija Djonovic finished with 38 assists and nine digs and libero
Luana Thompson led the defense with 18 digs.
The Golden Eagles rolled through the first two games but had to battle in the third set. With three lead changes and 10 ties, CSI pulled away at the 20-20 mark. Southern Nevada gave CSI a lead it never gave up with a service error. Then two kills by
Jasmyn Keohohina-Malina and one by Wodke gave the Golden Eagles the 24-20 lead. Keohohina-Malina finished off the match with a block, sending CSI into the championship match. The winner of Saturday's match will earn a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament.

Colorado Northwestern vs. Snow College - The Badgers defeated Colorado Northwestern 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 to advance to the semifinals of the Region 18 Tournament. Snow was led by Madison Loar's seven kills.
CSN vs. USU Eastern Boxscore
Southern Nevada vs. USU Eastern - The Coyotes relied on outside hitter JoHanna Alvarez-Thompson to beat USU Eastern 18-25, 25-13, 23-25, 25-12, 15-10 to advance to the semifinals of the Region 18 Tournament. Alvarez-Thompson ended the match with 30 kills12 digs and three blocks.
SLCC vs. Snow Boxscore
Salt Lake CC vs. Snow College - The Bruins defeated Snow 25-27, 25-21, 25-18, 25-21. Aubrie Steiner led Salt Lake with 20 kills. Thaymres Fuchs finished with 38 digs.
