TWIN FALLS - The 16th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team proved to have way to many weapons Saturday, dominating Impact Academy 143-77 in the final night of the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
The Golden Eagles looked good in the first half, shooting 49 percent from the field. But they were untouchable in the second half, knocking down 64 percent of their shots.
Six CSI players scored in double digits, led by local product
Casdon Jardine's 24. He added six rebounds and two assists.
Other Golden Eagles scoring 10 points or more were
Josiah Barsh (23),
Charles Jones Jr. (18),
Aushanti Potts Woods (15),
Danya Kingsby (13) and
Jake Hendricks (10).
Deishuan Booker led CSI with five assists.
The Golden Eagles also dominated on the boards, finishing with 63 compared to 31 for Impact. Leading rebounders for CSI were Nwankwo and
Tommy Burton with seven apiece.
CSI, which plays at home Friday and Saturday in the Wright Physical Therapy/Idaho Central Credit Union Tournament, improves to 5-1.
