TWIN FALLS - The 16th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball continued its winning ways, beating Chemeketa 114-82 Friday in the opening night of the Fisher's Tech Invitational.
The Golden Eagles never trailed in the game, shooting close to 49 percent from the field.
Scoring was spread out throughout the team with four scoring in double figures led by
Charles Jones Jr. with 21.
Tommy Burton added 20 points and five rebounds, while
Mubarak Muhammed posted a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Casdon Jardine finished with 10 points and six rebounds.
The Golden Eagles out-rebounded Chemeketa 60-39. They also shared the ball well, finishing with 18 assists.
Josiah Barsh led the way with six assists. He added nine points, seven rebounds and three steals.
CSI, now 4-1 overall, will play Impact Academy Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Earlier Friday, Impact beat Rexburg United 95-94.
