TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team honored its sophomores and got the win Monday over Western Wyoming 25-10, 18-25, 25-20, 25-22 in non-conference action. It was also Dig Pink night to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Every sophomore started except
Tannah Bair, who was out with an injured ankle. And all of them posted solid numbers
Alycia Wodke led the way for the Golden Eagles with 13 kills, 10 digs, two blocks and two aces.
Ashelyn Jones added eight kills, and six blocks. Libero
Luana Thompson finished with 18 digs, while setter
Marija Djonovic had 21 assists, four aces and four digs. Outside hitter
Shelby Jenkins posted five kills and six digs.
CSI, now 24-5 overall and 7-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, travels to Colorado Northwestern and USU Eastern Friday and Saturday to end its regular season. If the Golden Eagles win both, they will host the Region 18 Tournament Nov. 4-5.
