EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho men's basketball team earned the top seed and a share of the Scenic West Athletic Conference title Saturday by beating Snow 84-79 in overtime.
The Golden Eagles knocked down 74 percent of their free throws and shot 45 percent from the field to get past the Badgers.
Fredrick Edmond scored 22 points along with five rebounds to lead four players in double figures. Tyson Smith scored 18, Ar'Mond Davis had 13 and Shaq Carr added 10 points.
CSI ends the regular season with a 28-2 record, ranked fifth in the NJCAA National Poll.
The Golden Eagles finished the SWAC 13-2 and tied with Salt Lake but since CSI beat the Bruins two out of three times, the Golden Eagles hold the tiebreak and earn the top seed heading into the Region 18 Tournament in Price, Utah Feb. 26-28.
