EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho women beat 6th-ranked Salt Lake on Thursday and then added a win over Snow 64-59 Saturday to finish the regular season in second place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference race and earn the two seed heading into the Region 18 Tournament Feb. 26-28.
The Golden Eagles led the entire game, shooting 47 precent from the field and 81 percent from the free-throw line.
Samantha Lubcke scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Eagles.
Holly Blades added 12 points and two rebounds.
CSI, 19-11overall and 10-5 in league games, will play the winner of Snow College and Colorado Northwestern at noon Friday in the Region Tournament held at Price, Utah.
